The categories described above are assessed during a three-day onsite assessment process conducted by Learning Point, Inc. with the cooperation of the organization. The assessment process uses three separate approaches to discern the needed information from the organization. These approaches are:

Personal Interviews
Learning Point associates will conduct one-on-one interviews with selected individuals from within the facility who can provide candid and informed insights relating to the categories being assessed.

Process Tours
Learning Point associates will spend time with a designated individual to tour the factory with the intent of observing the processes that are in place. This visual assessment will reveal the physical aspects of the categories.

Focus Groups
Learning Point associates will conduct focus group sessions involving selected employees to gain further insight into processes, dynamics, and issues pertaining to certain categories being assessed.

Learning Point will use the data gathered to assess the overall ability of the organization to lead, implement, and sustain the TPM process.

Assessment Report
Learning Point will then prepare a written report that summarizes the findings and outlines key suggestions. Learning Point will provide the report in writing two to three weeks after the completion of the assessment. An associate from Learning Point will also be available to provide a presentation of the findings in person upon management’s request.
